This qualification is designed to provide learners with the essential knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in Active Leisure.

Entry Requirements

Course Requirements

The learner must achieve a minimum of 60 credits from the mandatory and optional groups to achieve this qualification.

Mandatory

The learner must achieve all 18 credits from all 9 mandatory units.

  1. Understanding the active leisure and learning sector
  2. Understanding employment rights and responsibilities
  3. Emergency first aid skills
  4. Customer care and diversity in active leisure
  5. Teamwork in active leisure
  6. Health, safety, security and welfare in active leisur
  7. Developing self in an active leisure job role
  8. Cleaning in active leisure
  9. Handling and maintaining equipment in active leisure

Optional

The learner must achieve 42 credits from a number of optional units.
