This course provides general guidance on dealing with the types of issues a finance professional will experience in reading and understanding basic legal contracts.  The presentation covers contract formation, common real world problems, contract risk language, and the important issues of warranties, indemnification, and limitation of liability.

• Discuss how contracts are formed and modified
• Recognize the warranties that are implied in every contract for the sale of goods and how to disclaim them.
• Explore the real world pitfalls of many contracts and how they can be prevented
