Course details
At Slim's, emphasis is placed on two foundation courses: one with a focus on design, the other on clothing construction. A fashion design professional should take both. These courses may be taken as a package or individually, with flexible schedules to accommodate both full time and part time students. Both courses are TESDA-certified.
The long-established "Slim's Method" has provided students with in-depth lessons in garment construction. The course covers everything from proper measuring techniques to meticulous methods for fitting, and includes patternmaking, drafting, sewing and finishing. Graduation requirements include the making of a terno and special projects such as wedding gowns.
