The role and function of the WSH Committees is critical to drive the performance of the organization towards WSH excellence. It is paramount that individual members possess the necessary competencies to carry out their duties and responsibilities effectively, and be able to work as a team to achieve common WSH objectives.
This course will equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to perform and discharge their responsibilities as safety committee members, and is designed to meet the competency requirements as mandated under the WSH (Workplace Safety and Health Committees) Regulations 2008. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course, the delegates will be able to acquire the knowledge and skills to function effectively as a member of the Company’s WSH Committee. The learning objectives are:-

• Perform and discharge their responsibilities as safety committee members
• Contribute effectively to the improvement of safety and health at the workplace
• Apply the WSH (Workplace Safety and Health Committees) Regulations

• Risk Assessment
• Mechanical and Electrical Hazards
• Chemical and Fire Hazards
• Environmental Hazards
• WSH Inspection
• Occupational Health and Diseases
• WSH Promotion and Training
• Accident Investigation
• Small Group Activities - role play and case studies

DURATION
Course conducted over 2 days with classroom training 15 hours and assessment 1hr.

FACILITATORS
Our facilitators are qualified WSH Professionals with many years of experience in WSH and are accredited by the Ministry of Manpower and WDA

HOW IS IT ASSESSED?
Learners must achieve at least 75% attendance to be eligible for the test at the end of the course. Upon passing the written test, will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Attainment for WSH Committees Course’, issued by KBA Training Centre Pte Ltd.
