This online makeup training course is highly popular and it is awarded by Brit Academy for Training. This training is ideal for those who’d like a more ‘hands on’ approach to their learning and allows learners to gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in makeup application.

This training is for 20 leaning hours and you can access to our tutorial video provided by our own tutors. This video will make you feel like you are in the class room as you will be learning effectively. Having enrolled for this training you will be able to apply makeup yourself or start your career as a professional makeup artist.

Our online programme is well designed that you feel same as you are in the classroom. This course is comprised of professionally narrated e-Learning modules, interactive quizzes, tests and exams. All delivered through a system that you will have access to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in 365 days (12 months). This training is for 20 guided learning hours and you will cover following learning outcomes:

1 Be able to prepare for make-up

The learner can:

• State the factors that could influence the choice of basic make-up products and techniques.
• State the importance of the preparation procedures for applying basic make-up.
• Prepare for applying basic make-up.
• Select products, tools and equipment.
• State how and when to use products, tools and equipment for basic make-up.

2 Be able to carry out make-up

• The learner can:
• State basic skin types
• State the basic structure and function of the skin
• State the bone structure of the face
• Prepare the face
• Apply basic make-up products
• Remove basic make-up
• Follow safe and hygienic working practices
• Communicate and behave in a professional manner

Method of Assessment:

At the end of the course learners will also take online multiple choice question assessment tests. This online multiple choice question tests are marked automatically so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course.

Certification:

Successful candidates will receive a Certificate for "Makeup Application"
