Project Budgeting

WHY PROJECT BUDGETING COURSE?

Budget Estimating is a process to predict the actual project cost within acceptable variance. This variance could be controlled by good project management and proper cost control techniques. The objective of this seminar is to train participants in identifying budgeting elements, cost management functions, space requirements and educate them in design programming, estimating standards, building space models, building description summary, and quality modeling. Participants will also learn about the Uniformat estimating system, engineering systems take off, risk management concepts, integrated cost and risk management, integrated VE into project design. Participants will apply the project budgeting techniques to a sample project to gain experience in using this technology. This course will also include construction market survey including market survey questionnaire and market cost trends of labor and materials.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This seminar is designed for every one want to get familiar with Value Engineering methodology application and its benefits and those who want to make best use of the application of Value Management as related to projects or services. All the managers, architects and engineers from: governor, state and local government agencies, universities, pharmaceutical, other research institutions, hospitals, environmental agencies, department of transportation, and manufacturing process industries will also benefit from these seminars. In addition, engineering and architecture firms should send individuals that are involved in the design and construction of these types of facilities. Construction contractors and facility managers can also benefit from these seminars.
