The publishing process can take months to complete and can be just as frustrating and time consuming as pulling teeth. After all your manuscript is your baby and as with any child you want the best for it.  So it is important to make sure you don't send your precious book out into the hands of a con artist in search of a quick buck. The process can be expensive depending on the route you want to take but it is always best to stay informed as to what exactly you are paying for.
