About the Program
The course provides targeted exam preparation support for PMI® Professional Business Analyst exam candidates, including both a PMI® Practice Guide for Business Analysis content review, a review of the PBA® reference books and exam preparation tutorial. You will be given a Study Guide that you can re-use to assess your knowledge gaps as part of your Personal Action Plan. Your score on this for each Knowledge Area can be compared to your results on the quiz at the end of each course module to guide your study efforts.

- Business analysis in project, program, and portfolio management.
- Understanding product and project life cycles.
- Skills and qualities of a successful business analyst.
Introduction to Business Analysis in Projects:
- Overview of business analysis.
- Implementation of business analysis in organizations.
- Relationship between business analysts and project managers.
- Requirements definitions and types.
Key Knowledge Areas and Practices:
- Needs Assessment: Identify problems or opportunities and assess current/future states.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct stakeholder analysis and engagement strategies.
- Elicitation: Determine elicitation approaches and confirm results.
- Analysis: Create and analyze models, define requirements, and prioritize them.
- Traceability and Monitoring: Establish relationships and dependencies in requirements.
- Solution Evaluation: Evaluate solution performance and obtain acceptance.
Exam Application and Preparation Process:
- Applying for and studying for the exam.
- Reviewing knowledge gaps and taking practice exams.
- Developing a Personal Action Plan for exam study.
