The Spring Framework is an open source application framework and it is used for Java platform. The core features of this framework can be used by any Java application, but there are some extensions for developing web applications on top of the Java EE platform.Spring Framework uses Java platform that provides extensive foundation support for developing Java applications. Spring takes care of the infrastructure so you can target on your application.
