The Animal Care and Psychology course is designed by experts in the field with years of experience caring for and communicating with animals. In this accredited course, you will gain all the required skills and knowledge to work with animals successfully, learning the different methods for caring for a variety of common household pets, from cats and dogs to reptiles and fish.

This course includes fundamental knowledge on animal care. You will become an expert in animal first aid and nutrition, learning how to identify when a beloved pet is ill and what their dietary requirements are. Not only that, but you will be able to build a stronger connection with animals by understanding how they think and interact with humans. 

Kickstart your career as an animal psychologist, pet sitter, dog trainer or veterinary assistant, and earn a recognised qualification to work in zoos, veterinary surgeries and clients’ homes.

Assessment

After completing all the modules of the course, your learning will be assessed by an automated multiple-choice question exam. You can participate in the Mock Exam prior to commencing the course completion Final Exam.

Certification

Once you’ve successfully completed your course, you will immediately be sent a digital certificate. Also, you can have your printed certificate delivered by post. All of our courses are fully accredited, providing you with up-to-date skills and knowledge and helping you to become more competent and effective in your chosen field. Our certifications have no expiry dates, although we do recommend that you renew them every 12 months.
