'Working Safely' is a one-day course that introduces a completely new approach to health and safety training in a high impact interactive course. Presented in a presentation that is free from jargon of technical content with clear scenarios drawn from real-life work situations to emphasize the practical points.
Objectives
  • 'Working Safely' isn't supposed to turn delegates into safety experts. It focuses on why health and safety is important, and how individuals can make a real difference to the wellbeing of themselves and others through changing their behaviour.
Who should attend?
'Working Safely' is for people at any level, in any sector, needing a foundation and basic understanding of the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must 'work safely' - and this course offers exactly that.

  1. Introducing 'Working Safely'
  2. Defining hazard and risk
  3. Identifying common hazards
  4. Improving safety performance
  5. Protecting our environment

Assessment 
An end of course assessment consists of a 10-question of multiple-choice paper and hazard spotting exercise will be carried out.
Certification
