• What you are going to learn: Research has shown that 75% of human interactions is communicated through non-verbal body languages (scratching of the neck, rubbing of the chin/moustache, hand gestures, body postures etc.) and will be exposed in all speech settings, be it on stage, in the boardroom, classroom or face-to-face personal conversations. The question is whether your body language exudes powerful confidence or powerless social anxiety. This lecture will provide you with actionable techniques to make your body speak for itself, confidently and artfully. 

• Lecture 2: Enthralling Linguistic Skills

• What you are going to learn: Pronunciation, diction, tonality, vocal variety are crucial verbal-elements for any speaker (be it novice or professional speakers, even in your day-to-day conversations) if you want your heartfelt messages to be successfully and effectively conveyed to the other party/ parties. Clarity and crispness of the words coming out of your mouth would either make or break your communications. This lecture aims to not just fine-tune your linguistics skills to maintain good oratorical abilities, but to enhance and make it actually ATTRACTIVE. 

• Lecture 3: Master being the Master of Ceremonies

• What you are going to learn: Throughout your life, you may be tasked to host an event, be it a birthday party, company appreciation gala dinner, seminar, briefing, wedding ceremonies, this is Public Speaking with a different twist. You may not be required to inspire or motivate the crowd but you need to artfully and tactfully enable the proceedings to run smoothly while entertaining and hyping up the crowd. Not easy, but this lecture will give you the tools and actionable guidance you need to make your guest think: "Wow, he/ she must have done this a thousand times, so smooth and slick!".

• What you are going to learn: In this lecture, you will be taught the tools and techniques that I've used to win the District level/ National level Table Topics (which is essentially Impromptu) FOUR-TIMES. Stuttering on stage, painfully long pauses and uttering filler words like "um...errr..." will be things of the past because you will be equipped with the systematic frame work to critically think of what to say in a creative, meaningful and impactful manner. • Lecture 7: Make People Listen to YOU (Persuasive)

• What you are going to learn: Persuasive speeches is next to impromptu when it comes to difficulty; a lot of speakers are great with the content as they have years of experience in their field of work or study, but how to make your audience listen to you? More importantly, besides just listening, how to make them agree with and want to learn more from you? Persuasion is the art of getting people to not just buy your products, it is to get them to buy into your ideas, into you yourself (personality+trust). Did I get your attention? Great, this lecture will teach you how. It's your turn!

• Lecture 8: Informative Speaking Made Exciting!

• What you are going to learn: Just presenting plain facts, statistics, research findings; isn't it boring and sleep inducing? In this lecture, you're going to be equipped with the strategies to enliven your informative speeches with relevant stories that will advance your information, your core speech message and make your audience want to listen to your information.

• Lecture 9: Crafting a Captivating Introduction/ Hook

• What you are going to learn: A speech is usually made memorable by an amazing opening. Martin L.King's famous speech begins with "I have a dream...". The introduction can make your speeches mind-etching or "Oh...it was just some speech that I heard from some guy...". This lecture will provide you with actionable and proven methods to craft a compelling and attention-grabbing opening/ hook to make your audience CRAVE to hear MORE. Let's express to impress!

• Lecture 10: Crafting an Impactful Conclusion (Mind-Blowing for Your Audience!)

• What you are going to learn: Conclusion is as important as the Introduction hence the phrase "Start well, End well"; After hooking your audience's attention, if you fail to meet their expectations for the ending, it will be like reeling in a fish with all your might only to let it slip at the end or a thrilling movie with a Are-You-Kidding-Me ending. How to conclude your presentations or Public speeches masterfully and impactfully - this lecture will teach you just that.

• Lecture 11: Story-Telling Techniques - Show & Not Tell

• What you are going to learn: "I went to the...", "I saw...", "He was sad...", "She got angry..." - too straightforward and boring isn't it? Where is the build-up? Why aren't my other senses tickled? Why do I feel like someone is reading a children's story, in fact a badly written one, to me? Stories are part and parcel of a great speech, but this lecture will help you craft a compelling, exciting and thought-provoking story for your speeches.  

• Lecture 12: Story-Telling Techniques - Narrative Curve

• What you are going to learn: How to build up your story, where to add the twists and turns? Elements of a exhilarating story that will make your speech feel like an emotional roller-coaster ride, leaving your audience feel "Wow, that was hearfelt, joyous, thought-provoking, saddening and meaningful" - this lecture will teach you just that.

• Lecture 13: Story-Telling Techniques - Use Dialogue instead of Narration

• What you are going to learn: Narration belongs to children's audiobook, a badly produced one in fact. Even great audiobooks include tons of dialogue to spice things up. Similarly, dialogue makes your speeches animated, creative, emotion-evoking and provides opportunities for you to wield your facial expressions and body languages to the hilt! This lecture will teach you how to artfully craft and deliver captivating dialogues to enliven your speeches.  

• Lecture 14: Story-Telling Techniques - The Hero's Journey

• What you are going to learn: "A Hero can come from anywhere, anyone" - Speeches that are memorable, meaningful and impactful are not those that brags about the speaker, his/ her achievements or expertises, but those that audience can relate to and feel inspired and motivated to do the same; a Hero's journey in your speech will bring your speech to a whole new level, distinguishing your speech from the rest as a unique and life-altering one. This lecture will show you how to discover the Hero, craft the journey, and deliver the experiences.  

• Lecture 15: Story-Telling Techniques - Characters Come Alive!

• What you are going to learn: Characters are essential and ever-present in many speeches. However, how you deliver the character affects the effectiveness and impact of the character(s) to your story/ speech. Do it well and people will be extremely interested to picture that character in their minds as if they were in front of them but do it badly and people will be wondering "Why is that character even necessary?". This lecture is going to teach you to do the former and not the latter!

• Lecture 16: Finding and Fine-tuning Your Very Own Speech Message

• What you are going to learn: Your speech message is the be-all-ends-all element as it determines whether your speech has any value to your audience at all? This is pretty self-explanatory - if your speech is value-adding, audience members walk away feeling educated, motivated and basically happy (signs to prove that you are a great public speaker) and vice versa. How to find the RIGHT speech message? What do I do after finding one? This lecture will provide you with actionable steps to hand-hold you throught the process in attaining a powerful and awesome core message!

• Lecture 17: Visualization to Empower Your Stage Persona

• What you are going to learn: Stage anxiety stems from two main problems - lack of speech techniques for competent delivery or fear of uncertainties (Will the audience like me? What about my speech message? Will they laugh at my humour points? Will I fluff my lines? Will I stammer or afflicted with a mental block on stage?!). This lecture will guide you along with proven techniques to visualize your stage performance so much so that you WILL re-enact it on stage and wow your audience!

• Lecture 18: Power Poses proven to Boost Your Stage Confidence

• What you are going to learn: Tried and tested body alignment and postures to turbo-charge your stage confidence; this is something that I've been doing for 13 years of public speaking experience and even for my preparation for the World Championship of Public Speaking therefore this is not something I'm preaching about, but something that I actually faithfully practise - trust me, it is absolutely effective. How to do it on stage and back stage? Let me show you with this lecture!

• Lecture 19: Mindfulness - Revolutionary Way to Confront Stage Anxiety

• What you are going to learn: Mindfulness is something that I've been practising to manage my stage anxiety or in other words "Instead of having butterflies in my stomach, I make them fly in formation" - this is not a religious practice, you don't have to seat in a lotus position with fingers specifically poised and chant some sort of mantra. This is a technique that will effectively calm your nerves and enable you to breathe just like how you do it NORMALY so that you can take on the stage confidently and with smiles.

• What you are going to learn: This lecture provides you with the flow of steps in a guided fashion to reap the benefits of Mindfulness for Public Speaking, achieving a Do-It-For-You experience.
