 CHAPTER 28 SHOULDER BI-SYNDROME & BULBAR PARALYSIS

Shoulder Bi-Syndrome, also called Loujianfeng, mainly manifests as shoulder pain and limited movements in the shoulder area. It is divided into the following eight types: Han-Taiyin , Hand-Yangming, Hand-Shaoyang , Hand-Taiyang, Hand-Shaoyin, mixed type of Hand-Taiyin & Hand-Yangming, mixed type of Hand-Yangming , Hand-Shaoyang and Hand-Taiyang, and mixed type of the Hand-Taiyin & Three Yang Meridians of the Hand.

Bulbar Paralysis is mainly manifested as difficulty in swallowing, horse voice and gastric reflex. Acupuncture is very effective for bulbar paralysis. This part introduces the selection of points and manipulation by a clinical case.
