Why Learn C?

C is a very powerful language developed by Dennis M. Ritchie. Over the years, it has been used to create great operating systems like Linux, Solaris and the kernel of Windows and Mac OSX. It is portable, has a rich syntax and interacts with computers at a much lower level than other languages derived from C itself.

In this course, you would be introduced to the language in depth. From writing your first program to manipulating pointers, creating make files and being entirely comfortable with using the language on a command line interpreter for any programming task.
